What happens if the other self dies? / Can my character die?
Yes, it is possible for your character to die. However, to avoid characters dying left and right, character deaths will have to be discussed with a mod first.
If the other self dies, then your character will lose their memories of any events that relate to Go Taisho,
and be incapable of fighting on. You may demote them to a npc if that happens.

How many characters can I have?
Currently, members can only have one character. Secondary characters may be available in the future, if you have enough points accumulated.  

Is it possible to have a character of more than one element?
At the moment it is impossible.

How many weapons am I allowed to have?
New and applying members can only have one weapon.
But once you have accumulated enough points, a secondary weapon for your character will be available in the shop for purchase.
Dual wielding is permitted as long as they're the same weapon.
However, they cannot have different functions since we only permit each weapon to have a maximum of 2 functions. Please remember that dual wielding has its disadvantages and we'd like you to place them in the weapon description.

Is there a point system?
Yes, you will be able to collects points by submitting art, rp logs or participating in chat events, among other things.

How do the stats affect my character?
They will mostly come into effect in chat rp battles. Otherwise, they are also there to give an overview of the character’s strength and weaknesses.

Do I have to use the chat?
Participating in the chatroom will be voluntary. However, a lot of the activities will take place there so we encourage that members drop by every now and then.

My character’s element is fire but they have blue eyes!
The original eye colour does not matter in the other world, as the eyes reflect your character’s element.
In this case your character’s other self would have red eyes.

How do I choose my element?
There are several ways to go about this. We personally recommend either creating a character and seeing which element suits them the best, or creating a character after the element description.
What is important, though, is that your character reflects their element.

Do I have to draw the app myself?
Yes. Everything from sketch to finish has to be done by you (the applicant).
We will also not tolerate any form of tracing or stealing of artwork for your app.
We will only accept original characters created by you.

Can my character be an exchange-student?
Yes. But clearly specify this in your app and state any information or reason for his/her transferral. The setting of the group takes place in Japan but we will be open to any nationality.
Though we will definitely keep the amount of foreign students to a minimal for the sake of realism so please keep this in mind.

Can I modify the school uniform?
Yes. But please don’t modify the provided school uniform to the degree that it becomes an entirely different attire. We encourage minimal modification only. Your character is allowed to wear a jacket/sweater on top of his/her uniform.

How do alternate forms communicate?
Communication in the other world happens through telepathy, meaning that no words will be physically spoken. Your alternate form may be able to growl, gasp or make other simple noises, however.

Can girls wear shirts instead of the sailor uniform and wear pants?
Students are not allowed to wear the uniform of the opposite gender*.
We are trying to integrate the fact that there's a stricter dress code in Japan, and also want to keep the distinct differentiation between winter and summer; male and female uniforms, to avoid complications. This also means that females are not allowed to wear the male uniform trousers even during the winter.

Applicants who have already drawn their apps will not be affected during the app-judging period. If accepted, however, we will kindly ask you to revamp your application so that your character is wearing the correct uniform. We will give you a long period of time for this, so don't worry about having to get it done straight away.

*An exception to this rule would be if your character is trans*; however, you must still note us first, as we would like to see your reasons behind your choice (even if just to say your character is trans*), so we can determine whether or not we think it's an acceptable reason.

Can I change/re-design my alternate self after getting in?
No. You will have to buy an item for that and double-check with us.
